It took me FOREVER to finally jump on board with HoneyBook. I did the trial, I let it expire and then I went back to my old ways.
My old ways were time consuming and dated. One night, after working with clients all day, I was sitting down to start invoicing, tracking projects, and updating client files. I was wishing for an easier way, and I already knew the answer.
I went to the HoneyBook site and signed up. Once I was in, there was an easy way for me to import and connect with clients. They even offer a service, within 7 days of signing up, that converts your contract and invoice templates into their format!
I went in and configured everything and was up and running in about thirty minutes. Here are the main points I love about HoneyBook and why I can’t imagine life without it now!
You can load in your packages and pricing to make beautiful invoices that are consistent and will even work with multi-payment structures. I love the fact that I can get a retainer payment and only have to create one invoice. Clients can pay via card from the invoice and the processing fee for HoneyBook is minimal. You have your money direct deposited within just a few days.
In a perfect world you would be able to communicate with your client and track your project in the same place. Well, HoneyBook is that perfect world. Your emails are done within HoneyBook for easy access and organization. You can also track your project process within the specific project. I love that I am able to set private notes and track my progress on a project that I can use as a reminder and share with my team.
HoneyBook allows you to make connections with your clients and other small businesses, which I adore. You can also find local gigs that are posted.
Besides all of these resources, HoneyBook offers so much more: reports on your projects and referrals, bookkeeping, calendars and the list could go on..
